Lesson 7. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service that tracks and reports website traffic, but not only this, it also gives information about sales, conversions, the visitors' interaction with the page (how they reached your site, how long they stayed, their geographical position...) and also provides visitor segmentation.

Google Analytics includes:

  • Analysis tools: Analytics is based on a reporting platform, where you can choose what data you want to see and customize your reports.
  • Content analytics: Content reports show you which parts of your website perform well and which pages are most popular.
  • Conversion analytics: Find out the number of customers you attract, how they interact with your site and how much you sell.
  • Advertising analytics: Obtain information on the performance of your ads on social networks, for mobile, search and display networks, and make the most of your advertising.

In conclusion, Google Analytics can help the businesses to have a better performance with its ads and to know better their customers, so they can create a better experience for them.
